About 80% of yearly solar energy is generated between March and October, making it the most productive period for solar panels. A system check at the start of the season is recommended, as winter may have caused damage. While owners can spot obvious issues themselves, a professional inspection helps detect hidden damage, performance losses, or soiling from birds, leaves, or dust.

Service at the highest level
We offer our solar panel and battery storage service throughout Switzerland. Our experienced service technicians are regionally based and can therefore be on-site quickly. We can even resolve minor malfunctions or damage within a few working days. Our services apply both to photovoltaic systems and battery storage systems built by us and to systems installed by third parties.
The solar system self-check
You can perform an initial check yourself. For a thorough examination, we recommend that you consult one of our specialists.
Yield Monitoring:
One-time investment check from CHF 510.-
No maintenance contract is required for the system check. This offer applies to photovoltaic systems up to 19.99 kWp.
We visually check all modules for damage, soiling, and hotspots, examine the mounting system for corrosion and secure fastening, and inspect cabling, connectors, and roof penetrations for signs of wear.
Electrical performance tests including string voltage, current, insulation resistance, and inverter output. Results are documented in a written report and compared against expected values.
Minor corrections such as re-tightening connectors or clearing debris are included. Replacement parts and larger repair work are quoted separately and scheduled after your approval.
Our maintenance services
FreeState offers maintenance contracts with different levels of coverage: monitoring, inspection, and inspection with full system check. Included services vary by package. We service both FreeState and third-party solar systems. Battery storage systems are fully supported.
