The federal government pays a one-off subsidy (KLEIV) for every new photovoltaic system. In 2026 it is CHF 360 per kWp up to 30 kWp and CHF 300 per kWp for the share up to 100 kWp. It is paid out via Pronovo after commissioning.
Surplus electricity is fed into the grid. For systems up to 30 kWp a legal minimum tariff of 6 rappen per kWh applies since 2026. Your grid operator sets the actual tariff.
Then there is the tax deduction: in most cantons you can deduct the investment in a solar system on an existing building from your taxable income. How much that is worth depends on your canton and income.

CHF 360 per kWp for the first 30 kWp (KLEIV). For 10 kWp that is CHF 3'600. Pronovo pays the amount after commissioning, we handle the registration.
In most cantons yes, provided the system goes on an existing building. The deduction applies to taxable income in the year of the investment. The amount depends on canton and income, which is why we do not include it above.
Our packages already include the battery, 5 to 20 kWh depending on size. The price per kWp above includes battery, inverter, installation and registrations. On the smallest systems the battery is optional.
Yes. With SolarFree we build the system on your roof and you only pay for the solar power, from 18 rappen per kWh. After 35 years the system is yours. With SolarAbo you pay fixed monthly instalments over 25 years and own the system from day 1.
That depends on your electricity price, your self-consumption and the system size. What you do not use yourself is paid by the grid operator at a minimum of 6 rappen per kWh. The solar calculator works out the payback with your local tariff.
